FOUNDER - Mark Lee Davies

First of all thank you for reading this far, here is some information about me and my journey of the creation of Haus of Conservation.

As an holistic movement teacher I have been guiding people of all ages through their yoga practice since 2002 as well as dance and other forms of holistic movement. I offer a variety of yoga energies and levels throughout my workshops and classes. Although I am mainly known for my strong yang yoga community classes I also guide and practice yin yoga regularly, as well as guiding children and young adults with autism, ADHD and special education needs though sensory and chair yoga. l also guide elderly people in care homes with dementia, mobility issues or on long term palliative care through sensory yoga, breath work, meditation and gentle movement. I believe in the power of movement for whatever stage of life you are in and l am passionate about making it accessible for as many as possible...

I qualified as a meditation teacher in 2023 and have always encouraged all my students to become more conscious in life, not only in their own immediate life, but with the choices they make, their values and all other life around them, as this is how true wellness is practiced. I encourage this connectedness through all the medium's that I work in.

As a creative artist I use a variety of mediums: movement, dance, art, education, music, theatre, immersive experiences and literature to encourage anyone wishing to connect with the energies that I offer, to become more conscious of themselves as individuals, their behaviour and world around them, in a bid to become a higher version of themselves. My works are always educational and truthful...

In 2020 I founded Haus of Conservation which brings my passion for wellbeing, creative arts and my advocacy work for humans, nonhuman animals and the earth together under one roof. My mission is to plant as many seeds as I can in a bid help people understand the differences between kindness, empathy, compassion and altruism as well as educating people on how all forms of oppression come from the same source of energy, and how this is connected with mind, body, soul wellbeing and regulation. I also aim to guide people to be conscious of their behaviour towards towards all, including nonhuman animals who are individuals, with their own personalities, thoughts, feelings and desires with awareness of the world around them. My motto "wellbeing for all life"... As the natural world
diminishes so does our wellness, the symbiotic link is real...
